Professor Cup  ONLY

10am-10:45am - Check in
         11am - Start

Capacity: 90

This free-to-enter tournament is exclusively open to Stage 1 & Stage 2 Professors from anywhere in the world.
The Professor Cup combines a unique fun format, off-the-wall whimsical rules, and great prizes to create a memorable experience for all.

After traveling through an Ultra Wormhole on your way to Anaheim you step out to realize you’re not quite there yet. You find yourself in Ultra Megalopolis with Megalo Tower looming in the distance. The atmosphere here feels...different, and the resources available to you are scarce. Battle your way through this mysterious city using your professor’s Intuition to survive.

        - Deck lists will be collected at check-in.
      - You will need to provide your own deck.
      - There will be a VG element in the Top Cut. If you have a 3DS with Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon please bring it              fully charged. Don't worry if you do not, we will have them available. More details on the Top Cut - TBA.
      - Best of 3, 40-minute Swiss rounds.

         Deck Building Rules
           40 cards
Sun & Moon through Lost Thunder
Limit 2 cards with the same name (excluding basic Energy)
           Commons and Uncommon cards only
           No special Energy cards
No Trial Captains (Llima, Lana, Kiawe, Mallow, Sophocles, Acerola and Mina).

        Special Rules
          - 4 prize cards
          - Alternate Mutant evolution - you can only evolve Pokémon to a type that is different from its own.                                                                           Example: Mudkip can evolve to any non-water type Stage 1 Pokémon.
          - Once per game, if you have more prize cards than your opponent you may use one of your

             Professor Intuitions :

Oak’s Intuition: When your opponent plays any card or announces any attack you can say ‘Nope’                            and that card is played for no effect.

Elm’s Intuition: Search your deck for up to 2 Pokémon, reveal them, put them into your hand. Then,                      shuffle your deck.

Birch’s Intuition : Search your deck or discard pile for a Stadium card and put it into play, (If you                               searched your deck, shuffle the deck). It gains the effect “whenever any player plays an item or                               supporter card from their hand, prevent all effects of that card done to this stadium card.” If                                   another stadium is in play, discard that card.

Rowan’s Intuition: Search your deck for an evolution card and put it on to your bench. Shuffle your                       deck. (You cannot use this Intuition if your bench is Full).

Juniper’s Intuition: Choose one Pokémon in play, shuffle that Pokémon and all cards attached to it                         into the owners’ deck. (If you or your opponent have 2 or less Pokémon in play, this Intuition cannot                     be used).

Sycamore’s Intuition: Choose one of your Pokémon, change its type to a different one. It stays this                        type for the remainder of the game.

Kukui’s Intuition: For this turn, your Pokémon’s attacks do 40 more damage to the defending                                  Pokémon. (Before applying weakness and resistance).

Willow’s Intuition: Choose one of your opponent’s Pokémon, put that Pokémon and all cards                                  attached to it into the Lost Zone. Your opponent takes a prize card. (If your opponent has 2 or less                        Pokémon in play, this Intuition cannot be used).
